The Alliance provides practical advice for implementing the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System as well as the additional features required by API Q1.
To become certified, you must create a quality manual and implement a quality management system that meet the requirements of the API Spec Q1. You must also conduct an internal audit and management review in accordance with API Spec Q1. After your quality management system has been operational for at least four months, you may then apply for certification.
